Westminster Interim Minister Announcement
The Interim Search Committee has made its selection for our Interim Minister!
Over the past two weeks we have spent numerous hours with each of our four Interim candidates and have had lovely conversation and learned so much about each of them. It was a unique opportunity to gush about all of you and all the tremendous things going on at Westminster. We do a lot of good work here.
All of the candidates were equally impressed with us as we were with them. The Interim Search Committee could not have made a wrong choice with any of our candidates. They were all Stellar Candidates with stellar resumes and experience.
However, one candidate stood out among the rest. I am pleased to announce that Reverend Tricia Brennan has agreed and said yes to be our Interim Minister in the coming year!
Tricia is presently serving at the UU Church in Sharon, Massachusetts. She came to Sharon following the departure of their beloved minister of 12 years, and she has helped steer the congregation through their transition time as well as guide them in their recent renovation project of almost $1 million dollars.
Tricia emailed and wanted The Interim Search Committee to pass along these thoughts to all of you:
Greetings one and all!
I consider myself one fortunate person to be selected to serve as your Interim Minister in the coming year. Your reputation as a caring, vibrant and healthy congregation precedes you and was matched by the positive experience I had with the Interim Search Committee. You have quite a year ahead and I am honored to join you on this journey. I look forward to working with Reverend Barbara to plan for a smooth transition, and to meeting all of you very soon. I will hold you in thought and prayer as you pass through the coming weeks of endings, changes and new beginning.
In faith,
Tricia Brennan
