How shall we live in a time when we know that the future will be nothing like the past? Living between cultural paradigms invites us to learn how to learn together-one step at a time.
Rev. Martha Niebanck is the Minister Emerita of the First Parish in Brookline. After a thirty year career of working with children and families, Rev. Niebanck was ordained at Old Ship Church in Hingham, and then served with our congregations in South County, RI and Waltham, MA. She has been intrigued by the developmental demands and possibilities of both leading and following in families, churches, and community. Rev. Martha lives in Boston next door to her two grandchildren, josef, age ten, and Nickolas, 8. They are proud that she has been arrested for non-violent civil disobedience resisting the West Roxbury Lateral Pipeline.
