Westminster welcomes Rev Eric Cherry as our full-time interim minister
The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Rev Eric Cherry has agreed to be our interim minister, starting September 1.
Most recently, Rev Cherry was the minister at the First Universalist Society in Franklin, MA. Prior to that, he served with UUA as Director of the International Office, and before that as Parish Minister, Unity Church of North Easton, MA.
Rev Cherry comes to us with much experience and many assets, including a strong commitment to social justice. He joins us “with a deep sense of humility and immense joy” and feels “deeply called to ministerial service with Westminster Unitarian Church.”
Rev. Cherry’s first service with us will be the in-gathering Water Communion on Sunday, September 11. We hope many of you will be able to join us to welcome him.
And, to quote Rev Eric again: “May we find that the days we are given for shared ministry are a true blessing for one and all.” To read more click HERE.
