Rhode Island Alliance of Braver Angels – the November Share the Plate Recipient

Braver Angels is America’s largest and fastest-growing non-partisan organization, bringing liberals and conservatives together for real debate and braver conflict resolution.

Their mission is to introduce citizens to the Braver Angels’ process of depolarization and civil discourse. The goal is not to change people’s views of issues but to change their opinions of each other. This is done by embracing respect, humility, honesty, and responsible citizenship. The RI Alliance of Braver Angels was formed in 2023 to work with RI schools, civic groups, and religious communities, building a membership base with people willing to learn to bridge the political divide through workshops, discussions, book talks, debates, and speaking engagements. Donations will support bringing this critical message to more people across our state.
