Family Mindfulness & Meditation Group
2nd Saturday of every month – 10:30-12:00.
The whole family (all ages) is invited to join us to practice mindfulness in the tradition of Zen Master, Thich Nhat Hanh (TNH). We begin our time together by singing mindful songs and reading a children’s book based on the teachings of TNH. Then the adults and children (willing and able) separate to give the parents the opportunity for silent meditation and sharing. Meanwhile, the children participate in a mindful craft. This group is led by Kristen Morelli, ordained by TNH in 2013, and Westminster Church member Stephen Conlon. Kristen and Stephen were mentored by our local Dharma Teacher, Joanne Friday.
