UU minister Scott Taylor writes, “Beauty does more than soothe and heal. It demands. It calls. It doesn’t just say “Love and appreciate me.” […] It paints a picture of new ways of living and declares, “Follow me there!” What might it look like to soak in the beauty around us, allow it to grab our hearts and move us forward? What would it look like to allow our love for all we perceive to inspire our lives? As we celebrate our bridging youth this Sunday and acknowledge their entry into young adulthood and forward into their lives, let us all ask ourselves the question, what might it look like to be “called by beauty?”
