How do we connect and engage with the wilderness? What is it that we look to find when we delve into the wild? To be in the back-country can be a scary and unknown experience for many of us because we have become separated from nature. We have created walls and barriers to keep us comfortable and safe from the wild but in doing so we have lost something. We will take some time to consider and remind ourselves of not only what we can find in the wilderness, but how we can be in relation with nature in a way that is authentic.
