The Unitarian Universalist tradition offers that each person is worthy of love, dignity, and respect—regardless of their abilities. Together, we will reflect on the profound importance of disability inclusion within our religious communities, drawing on the Unitarian Universalist principles of justice, equity, and compassion. We will explore how we can actively break down barriers—both physical and attitudinal—to create spaces where everybody, including those with disabilities, can fully participate in the life of our faith.

Join us as we lift up the voices of those with disabilities, celebrate their contributions, and commit ourselves to building a truly inclusive congregation.

Rev. Julián Jamaica Soto’s Bio: Rev. Julián Jamaica Soto lives in the Pacific Northwest, inspired by movements for solidarity and the pursuit of justice and peace. They preach and teach to spread love for humanity and the planet, encouraging others to take action for hope. Their work is a joyful reflection of their belief that a more connected world is possible.
