Across the Veil: A Service of Remembrance

When someone we are close to dies it can feel like a veil is lifted between worlds. They must cross, we can not. In many cultures it is believed that there are times of the year when the veil is especially thin and that we can, if we shift our focus to them, sense our loved ones with us. This morning we talk about this mysterious veil that we have all encountered in one way or another.
Please, feel free to bring a photo or memento of a loved one who has died and together we will create a beautiful altar to honor them.

Sunday worship services are simulcast on the large LCD screen in Smith Hall on Sunday morning. If you have trouble finding a seat in the Sanctuary or would be more comfortable in a more open space, you can watch the service in Smith Hall.
