What Does It Mean to Be UU?
At the General Assembly in June of this year, delegates from UU congregations voted overwhelmingly to redefine the way UUism is described and practiced. While honoring the essence of the traditional principles and sources, delegates voted to now embrace the core message of Unitarian Universalism through 6 values that expand from a life centered on love. This morning, as we explore these changes and what it means to center one’s life on love, we ask each of you: what does it mean for you to be UU? How do you define your faith, your religion and/or this place you tend to hang out at on Sunday mornings?
